Born on November 22nd 1984, Scarlett rose to fame with her role in 1998’s The Horse Whisperer and subsequently gained critical acclaim for her roles in Ghost World, Lost in Translation (for which she won a BAFTA), and Girl with a Pearl Earring, the latter two earning her Golden Globe Award nominations in 2003.

She has starred in many other well known films such as The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), He’s Just Not That into You (2009), Iron Man 2 (2010). Her two most recent films she has starred in are The Avengers (2012), in which she played Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff, and the Hitchcock bipic Hitchcock (2012) as Janet Leigh.

Scarlett won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her part in A View From the Bridge (2010) and has most recently starred as Maggie in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (2012).

Scarlett has recorded 2 music albums (Anywhere I Lay My Head and Break Up with Pete Yorn) and appeared in several others.
